There are two important dates to take note of regarding the changes in licensing and pricing for Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV Subscription on-premises by Microsoft: October 1, 2023, and April 1, 2025. Below is an overview of the changes provided by Navtech Group.
Change in on-premises pricing:
Starting from October 1, 2023, the following changes will be implemented:
What does this mean for you?
The price increase will only affect the purchase of additional user licenses and application objects (such as tables, pages, reports etc.) made after October 1, 2023. Your existing license investments will remain unaffected. If you are a new customer, it is recommended to make a planned license purchase before October 1, 2023, to take advantage of the current pricing.
Adjustment of the enhancement plan fee rate from 17% to 18%
What does this mean for you?
Upon renewal of your Microsoft Enhancement contract, Microsoft will charge an 18% Enhancement Plan Fee for the next year based on the license volume listed on your existing license at that time. Additionally, any new license purchases made on or after October 1, 2023, will be subject to a prorated 18% Enhancement Plan Fee based on the license list price. This applies to all Dynamics on-premises licenses, including Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV Perpetual (NAV 2013-NAV 2018), NAV 2009 Business Ready, AX 2009, AX 2012, and Dynamics 365 for Operations.

Starting from April 1, 2025, the following change will take effect:
What does this mean for you?
For existing customers of Dynamics on-premises solutions, there will be no change. You can continue to upgrade your existing on-premises licenses after April 1, 2025, by purchasing additional user licenses or features for Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV Perpetual (NAV 2013-NAV 2018), NAV 2009 Business Ready, AX 2009, AX 2012, and Dynamics 365 for Operations. These changes apply exclusively to new customers.

Navtech Group will also adjust its prices and conditions for Navtech Group solutions on October 1, 2023, and April 1, 2025, in accordance with Microsoft's changes. They are in contact with their strategic partners to provide timely information about their planned adjustments. For on-premises one-time purchases, Navtech will follow Microsoft's changes and increase prices for purchase solutions by 11% starting from October 1st. In the context of subscriptions, Navtech Group will offer additional licensing options to enhance flexibility.
